Ethics in AI
Ethics is the concept of right and wrong behaviour, and what it involves to be a good person. How can we teach a computer to make good choices? And who decides what is a good solution to a problem? Many difficult questions arise when we use artificial intelligence in everyday situations.
When you develop programs and research in AI, you sometimes encounter difficult ethical issues. For example, who is responsible for the decisions that the AI program makes?
At the ethics station, visitors get some tricky thoughts that may not have a "correct" answer. Then you get to choose how you reason and can also look at how other visitors have responded!
AI systems - that do not do as we intended!
An AI system makes decisions based on the data that we humans have given it to train on. How the system interprets this data is not always clear, and several tests are needed before the system can be used. Many politicians and researchers demand rules for how these tests should be carried out, especially for the riskier areas of use. They believe that transparency is important, so that we can trust the AI system used.

Motion pictures and sounds can also be used. Appearance, gestures and your voice can be imitated. After your death, you can remain digital as a hologram, a robot or on social media and talk to your friends and relatives. Would you want that?

Are you worried?
Artificial Intelligence is used to collect data about you and select the information that you should see first on the internet. AI is also used to make fake movie clips, collect information and opinions from large numbers of people etc. These things could limit us when wanting to use our democratic rights. Which of the following options best suits you.
1. I am worried that it will be difficult to know which news is true or false.
2. I am worried that there is information about where I have been, who I know and what I believe may end up in the wrong hands.
